knowledge base: the case of financial institute » – Prof. Aldo Romano

Definition of methodologies and tools for pattern-based business process digitalization in Smart Communities and
Internet of Everythings (IoE)

 

Internet of Everythings is a new technological paradigm based on typical model of a Smart Community, which
combines 4 dimensions ( Peolple – Things – Processes – Data ) through connections:

• Machine to Machine
• People to Machine ( IoT)
• People to People ( Web and Social)

to allow exchange of information between people and things through integrated business processes.
Pattern is a valid approach in order to reduce complexity of business processes and create a knowledge base.

• Methodologies and standard for Business Process Reeingineering (BPR) and Business Process
  Management (BPM) : systematic review of methodologies
• Internet of Everything (IoE): extension of IoT (Internet of Things) content to include interactions
  among persons and things, and collaborative business processes based on social media and smart
  objects interactions.
• Digitalization Pattern: definition of «digitalization pattern» for business processes in Smart
  Communities and IoE context.
